Filming & Photography

Professional filming and photography are prohibited. Please do not bring items you cannot carry with you, as they cannot be retrieved once left at the gate.

Searches

Expect multi-layered searches at the entrance, which will include metal detectors and bag searches. Refusal to comply with a search will result in denied entry.

Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited for safety reasons. Confiscated items will not be returned or stored. Please review the full list of prohibited items.

For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Please have your bags open and available for inspection.

Bag Policy

Allowed Bags

The following bags are ALLOWED:

Small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs SMALLER than 6”x9”.
Clear plastic bags SMALLER than 12"x12"x6”.
Camelbaks or hydration packs with a maximum of two main compartments and one smaller compartment.
  • Note: All hydration packs must be completely EMPTY when entering the venue.

Prohibited Bags

The following bags are PROHIBITED:

Large purses, bags, or backpacks
Bags or Purses larger than 6”x9”
Clear plastic bags larger than 12”x12”x6”

Getting There

  • Travel & Parking Information

    Public transportation, rideshares, and carpooling are highly encouraged as parking in the area is limited.

    There will be no concert parking in the Dune Peninsula parking lot for the event. Only purchasers of The Lookout [Tier 1] ticket add-on will be permitted to park in the Dune Peninsula Parking Lot.

    Paid parking for concert attendees will be available at Point Defiance Park in the Multipurpose Lot located near the Point Defiance Maritime Boat Launch. Concert parking is not allowed in the Point Defiance Park Bowl or in the Anthony’s Parking Lot. Please obey all parking restriction signs.

    Paid parking is also available in the Point Ruston Parking Garage, located a short walk to the venue on Yacht Club Rd.

  • By Rideshare

    Ride share drop off area is located at the main entrance to Dune Peninsula in the turnaround area.

  • By Public Transportation
    1. From Downtown Tacoma (Near Commerce Street)
      1. Catch Pierce Transit Route 11 or Route 10 heading north from the Commerce Street Transit Center.
      2. Stay on the bus until you reach the vicinity of Point Defiance Park (check the route map and confirm with the bus driver if they can drop you near the park entrance).
      3. Once you arrive near the park, walk or follow local signage to Dune Peninsula—approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the main entrance, depending on the specific drop-off point.
    2. From Tacoma Dome Station
      1. From Tacoma Dome Station, look for Route 11 or Route 10 heading toward the Point Defiance area (both typically travel via Downtown Tacoma first, so you may need to ride into Downtown and then transfer).
      2. Ride the bus until you reach the stop near Point Defiance Park’s entrance.
      3. Walk through the park, following signs for Dune Peninsula.
    3. From South Tacoma / Lakewood
      1. Take a Pierce Transit route that connects to Downtown Tacoma (for example., Route 3 or Route 2 from Lakewood Transit Center, depending on where you begin).
      2. Once in Downtown Tacoma at the Commerce Street Transit Center, transfer to Route 10 or Route 11 heading to Point Defiance.
      3. Ride until you get near or at Point Defiance Park, then walk to Dune Peninsula.
    4. From Seattle (Via Downtown Tacoma)
      1. Take Sound Transit’s Express Bus 594 from Downtown Seattle to Tacoma Dome Station.
      2. At Tacoma Dome Station, transfer to local Pierce Transit service toward Downtown Tacoma (such as the free T-Link Streetcar or another local route).
      3. In Downtown Tacoma, board Route 11 or Route 10 northbound for Point Defiance Park.
      4. Exit near Point Defiance Park and walk to Dune Peninsula.
  • Tips and Reminders:
    • Always check Pierce Transit schedules and route maps for up-to-date times, stops, and any service changes.
    • Let the bus driver know you’re headed to Point Defiance Park or Dune Peninsula; they can often confirm the best stop.
    • Once at Point Defiance Park, signs will guide you to Dune Peninsula, which is a short walk from most main drop-off points near the waterfront.
